CSA Announces the New, Revised Employee Survey
For the last 8 years, CSA has continued to identify opportunities on how to improve the City-wide Employee Attitude Survey (CEAS) so it can provide results and recommendations that City leaders can use to make business decisions. Career Service Authority proudly announces a new Pre-Supervisory Training Program (PST) starting this November.

The PST program is designed for employees who are interested in pursuing supervisory positions. The program provides awareness and knowledge of what is necessary for successful supervision. The purpose of the program is to provide a realistic experience and practical application of supervision, which will help you determine whether supervision is the right career path for you.

The program begins November 6th and will run for a total of 9 full day sessions. These will be held twice monthly, but subject to change. Class size is limited to the first 25 participants and the cost is $200.

For more information about the PST Program, visit www.denvergov.org/pst or contact Melody Soell at melody.soell@denvergov.org or (720) 913-5642.

“Our differences are the key to the strength of our city.”

At the City and County of Denver, we acknowledge, celebrate, respect and value the diversity of our community and our workforce.

The recent media exposure and the subsequent positive and constructive feedback we’ve received from employees show us that we have clearly struck a nerve. We want to use this revived attention and passion from our employees to open dialogue with the result being the best end product possible. We will suspend the use of the video until we can facilitate this collaboration at an upcoming summit.

The intention of the “Laughing Matters” video as part of our overall training program is to enhance awareness of inappropriate humor in the workplace, not to stereotype or perpetuate stereotypes of any individual or group.

We appreciate the tremendous work done by the Diversity Program and continue to support their efforts to create the best possible working environment for employees.
