In 2009 Doors Open Denver will celebrate the local architects that have shaped Denver during a FREE two-day event that allows you to go behind the scenes of the city’s significant architectural gems and lesser-known treasures. 

Spend the day on a self-guided tour of both historic and modern buildings, register for an Expert Tour or embark on an Urban Adventure, a self-guided tour based on a theme.  We hope you will join us for Doors Open Denver 2009!

The Saturday event is taking place. Any closures or changes of which we have been notified are being posted here as they come in. Please check back periodically for updates. Sorry for the inconvenience. If only we could design the weather!

The Sunday forecast looks good and we do not anticipate any impact on the Sunday event.

Saturday Building Closures:
  • Clayton Early Learning Campus
  • Denver Society of Model Railroaders
  • Fairmont Dual Immersion Academy
  • L2Church (Colfax Events Center)
  • Park Hill Elementary School

Saturday Building Delays:

  • Trinity Church - open at earliest at noon - check
  • Denver Athletic Club - open at noon
Saturday Tour Cancellations:
Saturday tour tickets will be distributed at Union Station headquarters beginning at 8:30 am today.
Note: Expert tours are free but space is limited, so you must pick up tour tickets to go on expert tours.
Some outdoor tour have been cancelled and tickets will not be distributed. Check Expert Tours tab for most updated information.
Sunday tours will not be affected.
