Municipal Facility Compliance
The Environmental Compliance & Management Section provides environmental regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship services for city-owned facilities and activities. We ensure that the city complies with all relevant environmental regulations and minimizes negative impacts on the environment while contributing to and supporting a healthy work environment. In addition, the group conducts air compliance and stormwater inspections on permitted facilities through a cooperative agreement contract with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Private Facility Compliance The Environmental Compliance & Management section conducts air and stormwater compliance inspections on permitted private industrial facilities through a cooperative agreement contract with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The inspections are conducted to determine compliance with applicable regulations pertaining to permitted air emissions, equipment operation and best management practices to reduce the potential for stormwater run-off that may have come into contact with pollutants associated with industrial processes at the facility.
