Inoperable vehicles
Accumulations of rubbish in yards or along alleys
Appliances or furniture intended for inside use in yards or on porches
Unattended vegetation over 6" in height
Accumulations of cut branches in yard
Accumulations of dog manure
Snow must be removed from sidewalks immediately after a storm or within 4 hours after a storm for businesses or within 24 hours after a storm for residences
Defective or illegal fences, proper height (4' in front, 6' in sides and back for residential zones), good repair, approved material (no barbed wire, corrugated metal, or salvage materials)
Residential parking areas and driveways must be gravel, roadbase, asphalt, or concrete. No parking allowed on lawns or unsurfaced areas
Commercial properties or multifamily units must have parking surfaces of asphalt or concrete. No parking allowed on unsurfaced or improperly surfaced areas

Zoning
Illegal businesses, such as auto body repair, auto painting or heavy auto repairs, etc., operating in residential zone districts
Illegal home businesses with employees in residential zone districts
More than 2 yard sales per year for a residence
Only one vehicle per licensed driver, plus one additional vehicle per household are allowed in residential zone districts
No major car repairs can be done outdoors, only oil or tire changes are allowed. Other repairs must be done in a garage
Only one motorcycle per licensed driver is allowed
Vehicles over 22' long are not allowed to park in streets or driveways in front of residences
Commercial vehicles exceeding 6,000 pounds are not allowed to park in residential zone districts
Excessive number of pets (over 3 dogs, 5 cats, 2 rabbits, or 25 pigeons, or 5 total dogs and cats, not exceeding 3 dogs) or exotic pets or farm animals
Sign issues such as excessive signage, projecting signs, signs above the roof or banners

Low limbs extending over surfaces of streets or alleys must be at least 13'6" above the surface of the street or alley
Plant growth cannot extend into the alley or over the sidewalk. It must be cut back to the property line
Low limbs over the sidewalk must be a minimum height of 8'
Trees or shrubs blocking the line of sight at an intersection or blocking signs must be trimmed so they don’t obstruct views
Trees with dead or broken limbs over 2" in diameter must be pruned or removed
Dead, diseased or dangerous trees (trees with extensive deadwood) must be removed
Only licensed tree companies may be hired for tree work in Denver. Permits are required for all tree work, including planting, pruning, and removing, within the public right-of-way.
If there are trees in your front yard, an inspection must be performed before the City can issue permits for construction, remodel work, or demolition in these areas
