 Community Beautification Projects Minimize
You can get outdoors, get a little dirty, and get that feeling of a job well done.
 
Opportunities to keep Denver beautiful by creating your own cleanup or joining in any of the hundreds of cleanups that occur every year.

Keep Denver Beautiful provides safety information, trash bags and will arrange for pickup of collected trash. Depending on the nature of the project other resources may be available such as tools, gloves, safety vests and promotional materials. Minimum age is 6 with adult supervision, 16 without. Volunteers should plan on 2 to 4 hours per event.

Join a cleanup or plan your own! This is a great way for groups and individuals to make a difference on an occasional or one time basis.   To find out about planned projects already in the works, check the Keep Denver Beautiful Events page.  Allow 3 weeks when planning your own project.

Keep Denver Beautiful provides the following support for your community cleanups.

  • Loaner tools (rakes, brooms and shovels)
  • Loaner supplies (safety vests and gloves)
  • Trash bags
  • Trash pickup after your cleanup
  • Safety information
    Please Note: Tools, supplies and trash pickups may not be available for all cleanups.

     In addition to the above, we can often help with developing flyers and other outreach support.

    Cleanups offer participants the chance to explore details of the urban environment that often go unnoticed.
