Denver Pretrial Services is divided into two phases. Phase I evaluates defendants who are incarcerated for a felony arrest to determine their eligibility for a Personal Recognizance (PR) bond as well as to set bond amounts according to statutory limits. PR Bonds are supervised by Phase I Officers. Phase II supervises defendants released from incarceration on PR bonds or bond reductions with special requirements as ordered by the court.
