November 4 General Election
The 2008 General Election is a Presidential Election, and both affiliated and unaffiliated voters will be able to vote for candidates in the General Election, along with ballot issues that are anticipated to be on the ballot.

Sample Ballots
Sample General Election ballots are posted in the polling place lookup page. They appear in the search results.

Denver's TABOR booklet, mailed on October 3, contains a sample ballot, TABOR-required information on the Denver Public Schools bond issue, and general voting information. Note that the Denver TABOR booklet does not contain information on statewide ballot initiatives. Information on statewide measures is contained in the State Ballot Information Booklet (commonly referred to as the “Blue Book”) available from the State of Colorado.

Voting Reminder Sheet
Record numbers of voters are expected to vote this Election Day. Make your choices ahead of time and mark them on this Voting Reminder Sheet. This is a "scratch" reminder sheet you may print out, mark up, and bring with you to your polling place as a reminder sheet. Use it to refer to the choices you made to help you mark your official ballot. It is not an official ballot.

Withdrawn Ballot Issues
Amendments 53, 55, 56 and 57 have been withdrawn from the ballot, but not soon enough to meet ballot printing deadlines. Some voters who are on the mail-in ballot list will receive a ballot that includes these amendments. The ballots that will be in use during early voting and on Election Day will see a ballot that has the word "WITHDRAWN" printed across each of these four ballot issues.

Denver's ballot counting scanners have been reprogrammed to ignore any votes on these four ballot issues. Any votes on these issues will not be counted.
