Lead Poisoning Prevention: I-70 Superfund Site
The "VB/I-70" Lead Poisoning Prevention Program is a residential canvassing outreach project that provides childhood lead poisoning prevention outreach services to the residents of the VB/I-70 Superfund Site. The health outreach services of the project will be available through September of 2007. The residental soil clean-up of the site was completed in the fall of 2006.
Public Health Inspections
The Public Health Inspections division requires inspections of all public food service establishments, swimming pools, child care facilities, residential health and housing facilities, emergency vehicles, body art establishments, and several other business activities.
Report a Food Safety or Public Health Concern
The Public Health Division investigates complaints about hazards to public health including food safety, disease, housing-related health problems, and other public health concerns.
Report an Environmental Concern
The Community Protection division of Environmental Health investigates complaints about illegal handling and disposal of hazardous waste, pollutants, and toxins in accordance with state and federal regulations.
