Park Hill Thriving Communities began in 2005 with the mission to eliminate health disparities in th Park HIll neighborhood via equal access to healthy esting and active living. The project serves approximately 30,000 residents living in a three square mile area.

Denver Healthy Food Access Initative grew out of the Park Hill Triving Communities program with the goal to increase grocery store access for all of Denver's residents. The effort will be based on sucesses from across the country led by The Food Trust.
