Gang Activity: Awareness and Prevention

The Denver Police Gang Bureau investigates all gang-related and gang motivated crimes in Denver. We work in partnership with the community and other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to identify and track juvenile and adult criminal gangs and gang crimes. In addition, we respond to all gang-motivated incidents, process gang-related crime scenes, and assist with identification of gang-based graffiti in the City and County of Denver.

We also provide the following types of community outreach and support :

  • Gang awareness and educational presentations
  • Gang-related crime information
  • Police officer response to gang activities
  • Other gang-related training
