There are a number of reasons that a trash or recycling stop might be missed.
The majority of missed collections happen during the weeks that Solid Waste Management operates on a holiday schedule. During holiday weeks, the collection schedule is bumped by a day. If your service falls ON or AFTER a holiday, your collection will be delayed one day. Monday service will be on Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday, etc. with Friday service on Saturday for that week only.

Sometimes trash or recycling can’t be collected because containers are blocked, or set outs are prepared incorrectly.
Check our service guidelines to make sure your containers were set out correctly.
